The MBDRA works actively to preserve, enhance and promote environmental assets within the district.
Some of our more recent activities include:

• Environment Muster 2025

• Save Fidler Lane Heritage trees

• Reduction of canopy loss at High School roundabout works

• Save Bollen Road Heritage trees

• Provide input and feedback to MBDC Environmental Strategy and Urban Tree Management Plan

• Working with community to save Paterson Reserve

• Held meetings with GMB Water to save an area of native vegetation from removal at Laratinga Wetlands

• Provided feedback to MBDC Open Space and Trails Plan

• Ensure commitment from new Bunnings centre to rescreen with appropriate trees
